At Two Bit Originals, we’re inspired by the history and legacy of the American West, and we’re committed to creating handcrafted works of art that would make even the most discerning collector proud. We offer a wide selection of products, including items to display your firearms, leather work, and original blacksmith items. With a focus on authenticity and quality, our products will impress even the most knowledgeable collector. We’re proud to pay homage to the rugged, adventurous spirit of the Old West.
Two Bit Originals is named after the mining camp of Two Bit just outside of Deadwood, South Dakota where we reside and put our creativity to work. We are inspired by the rich and unique history of Deadwood and the Black Hills and are proud to keep this heritage of the Old West alive.
Our family enjoys working together and creating original handcrafted original products for Cowboy Action Shooting, Cowboy Fast Draw, and the Old West enthusists. Our products range from items for displaying firearms, leather work, original black smith items and collectable items for this era.
THE KUCHENBECKER'S
Kevin Kuchenbecker - Owner, Craftsman
Kevin is a craftsmand and artist in wood, blacksmithing and leatherwork as well as an avid cowboy action shooter, western historian and preservationist in Deadwood, South Dakota.
Kevin is active in a variety of historic related organizations such as Deadwood History, Deadwood Alive, the Days of 76 Museum, the Adams Museum, South Dakota State Historical Society, Dakota Artist Blacksmith Association, American Chuck Wagon Association, Stage Coach and Freight Wagon Association, the National Trust for Historic Preservation to name a few. He also has particpated and a member of the Single Action Shooting Society and Cowboy Fast Draw Association.
Shana Kuchenbecker - Craftsman
Shana works with Kevin in all aspects of the shop. She manages the Days of 76 Campground during the summer season and is also a paraprofessional at the Elementary School in Deadwood, South Dakota.
She enjoys spending time with family, the outdoors, cooking, baking and quilting as well as the rehabilitating historic residential structures.
